Dongcheng District Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security Took Active Measures to Provide Its Assisted Region with Vocational Training

One measure is to innovate an online training menu. The Bureau contacted the department of human resources and social security of the assisted region in advance to fully understand the training demands and post-epidemic employment needs of the poor during the epidemic. Then, 5 vocational schools with online training functions within the district were directed to provide online training courses such as elderly care, keep-fit massage, maternal and children care and audio equipment and clarified training hours, contact information and teachers of training institutions and other relevant information, forming a comprehensive “menu-style” service. The second measure is to create online training modes. Adhering to the concept of “providing active supporting measures and continuing to teach classes without opening schools” and breaking the restrictions of traditional centralized training, the Bureau, by using the public service platform, carried out the vocational training for assisted region every Friday through a combination of live broadcasting and course recording. The first program provided basic knowledge and practical skills of nursery teachers. The Bureau's Vocational Development Center live broadcast recorded courses from the designated training institutions. After the end of courses, an arrangement for answering questions and consultation was provided. 26 job seekers in the Chongli District participated in the first training, among which 5 persons’ job-seeking information was recorded. The third measure is to strengthen online training publicity. Online training modes were widely publicized by giving full play to the role of the “Worker’s Home in Beijing” networking platform. The Bureau’s staff members personally guided the trainees’ operation of the online training platform. Besides, public service platforms such as WeChat official account, WeChat Enterprise, Tencent Meeting, Tik Tok (Douyin) and Xiao E Tech, were fully used to promote online training modes, enhancing the popularity and adoption.
