Intelligent Calling System Brought Emergency Treatment to 16 Senior Residents in One Year

  Recently, it has been learned from Jingshan Sub-district that a senior citizen in the East Jingshan Street Community lost consciousness at home, and the family members sought help through the intelligent senior-care service platform installed free of charge in the sub-district. The senior citizen is in sound condition now thanks to the senior-care station.

  It is reported that in order to promote senior-care service, Jingshan Sub-district has installed 270 sets of intelligent calling systems for senior citizens living under the most basic condition in the area under the jurisdiction of Jingshan Sub-district from 2017. A document has also been established for each senior citizen, with information including age, medical history, home address, and emergency contacts. The service platform has staff on duty 24 hours a day. After receiving the alarm, the staff will immediately dial 120 and call the family member and other staff in the senior-care station. The staff will arrive at the site in 10 minutes and provide basic services such as accompanied medical treatment, food delivery, bathing, and room cleaning. Last year, the system provided emergency treatment for 16 senior citizens in the sub-district, and sent them to the hospital in time to take them out of danger.
